75: Jillian Petersen, Professional Triathlete

Jillian Petersen is dynamic 33-year-old professional triathlete who started out on the ITU circuit and performed incredibly well there from 2007-2012 to include a World Cup win, a Pan American Championship and being ranked as a top-5 American woman.

 

She has since transitioned to the 70.3 distance and is having a blast. She is also one of the athletes who was selected to take part in the Major League Triathlon series of draft legal team relays.

67: Lesley Paterson, ProfessionalTriathlete

Lesley Paterson has one of those unique stories inside of sportsthat you’ll want to hear. Now that the NCAA has picked up triathlonas a women’s sport, her path through life so far would have to beviewed as a case study for young women in triathlon.

 

Lesley started racing professionally at the age of 17, went tocollege and was on the triathlon team (program). She has raced onthe ITU draft legal circuit, the IRONMAN 70.3 circuit and theXTERRA circuits, racking up 3 Off-Road World Championships as wellas an IRONMAN 70.3 win.
